I woke up with a fresh start. Well not really that fresh considering I only had about 3 1/2 hours of sleep. But I was determined to not let it get me down. I dropped Blake off to kindy with big smiles and no tears. I then dropped Cooper to school and he insisted I stay for the morning lesson which I quite often do when I don't have Blake with me. I watched my little man bursting with pride as he did the roll call and then learnt their dance that they'll be performing on stage at assembly in about 7 weeks. It was so adorable.
I left school and was feeling quite ok. My back was sore but I knew it wasn't as bad as it was yesterday and I had a few errands to do and some groceries to get so I braved the shops. Sure it was slow and steady bit I managed it.
I was about to leave and remembered I wanted to have a quick look at some slippers as the weather has been getting increasingly cold lately but my ugg boots are too warm.
And then I spotted them.
These cute Paul Frank slippers just had to come home with me. Not only did they have cute little monkeys on them but they were coral. It was a sign. Okay so they're more orange than coral but I needed to justify it somehow didn't I.
Even better news they were half price, so a whopping $15. Gotta love a bargain!
Aren't they cute?
I'm about to go and do school/kindy pick up and I don't want to take them off, they're so comfy and so warm.
They've certainly brightened my day. It's pouring here, perfect timing for school run.
